I have been a reader of quite a few blogs for the past few years, and if I have learned just one lesson, I have learned that every blogger is obligated at some point to write about her pet and maybe show a picture. I feel that my obligation in this regard is expecially intense since my pet is likely the cutest of those who might have their pictures adorning any blog anywhere. [This is one of those instances in which I feel obligated to note that this is my opinion and not necessarily the official organizational position of NCTE].
